All leftover or unclaimed items from Swapapalooza will be donated to Mary’s Place,  S.M.A.R.T. & Dress for Success. We annually donate over one ton of clothing to these organizations. Nice work ladies!

Mary’s Place
This program targets homeless and formerly homeless women and children in Seattle.
– Underwear (decent/wearable bras and panties are desperately needed)
– Clothing
– Outerwear (jackets, hats, scarves, gloves, etc.)
– Footwear (think practical)
– Toiletries (opened or new – travel size preferable)
– Backpacks, tote bags, fanny packs, and baskets
– Camping gear

Mary’s Place hosts an annual event with all our Swap leftovers called Takeapalooza.  In 2016, 28 massive bags of coats, tops, bottoms and shoes kept some very happy ladies busy for two hours.




Dress for Success
This program promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
-Coordinated, contemporary, interview-appropriate skirt and pant suits
-Beautiful, crisp blouses
-Gorgeous blazers and jackets
-Professional shoes

S.M.A.R.T. (Single Mothers Acquiring Resources & Training)
This is a collaborative community initiative in King County, WA designed to assist single mothers with the support they need to achieve economic self-sufficiency. Support is currently provided through our FREE Clothing Bank and our Single Mom’s Network; which provides spiritual support, mentoring, empowerment skills and lifelong learning classes. Future programs will incorporate FREE Temporary Housing as well as educational assistance such as GED tutoring.
